I have so many fold memories of Faye. I've known her all of my life, and as my mom's best and dearest friend. She was such a delight to be around and visit, whether in person or on the phone. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was witty and cheerful. I loved her no nonsense and straight forward way that brought confidence to a situation.
I know she will be sorely missed by her family, and I feel for them to have lost their mother. I am saddened that I will not be able to enjoy her again on this earth. But I imagine the reunion in Heaven with her loved ones, and I can just hear her and my dad teasingly picking on one another the way they used to.
