Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary | Dedicated Service Since 1907

Our Staff

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

When we sit down with a family, we have just one goal: to create a fitting, memorable and affordable service for their loved one. Together, we explore the wide variety of services and products available, as well as a wealth of creative ideas and suggestions.

Together, we'll design a memorial or funeral service that suits their needs now, and in the future. Families who come to us know that years from now, they will have deep peace-of-mind because in coming to us, they've done their best to honor their loved one.

Staff members of Newell Hoerling's Mortuary are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

When at home I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, Joyce and our children and grandchildren. My passion is for old cars and restoring them, but my true love is for Hot Rods, especially the love of my life. My Rusty Red, 1938 Chevrolet 4 door Street Rod with a Chevy 454 under the hood.

Lori Keilwitz

Lori Keilwitz

Licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer

Lori is a licensed Funeral Director and she joined Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary in July of 2015.  My life has been devoted to helping families by providing the care for their loved ones in hospital and nursing home settings as well as in home care. The years of doing this has given me an appreciation for the value of life, love and family. I now continue this work in the form of helping families through the most difficult time of losing the people that they hold dear and having been a nursing assistant for more than fifteen years, I am well aware of the grief that impacts a family when going through these difficult times. My focus now is to help families and loved ones through the memorial process with a personalized celebration of life.
