FORREST CAMERON MEADE

Forrest Cameron Meade died unexpectedly at Harborview Hospital in Seattle, Washington on April 17, 2017, at the age of 27.

Forrest is survived by his parents, Liza and Chuck Rohrer of Aberdeen, Washington and Kyle Meade of Tokeland, Washington.  Wife Julia Okitsu and son Justin Okitsu of Kent, Washington.  Brothers, Chandler Meade of Hoquiam, Washington and Greyson Meade of Des Moines, Washington.  He is proceeded in death by his great grandparents, John and Eloise Relethford, grandmother Susan Relethford and his young cousin, Justin “Sane” Relethford.

Forrest was born on May 3, 1989 in Tacoma, Washington to Liza Relethford and Kyle Meade.  He attended Aberdeen High School and Auburn High School.  He attended Green River college. Forrest received his Veterinary Assistant certificate from Pina Medical Institute in 2014.  He married his sweetheart Julia Okitsu in August of 2014.  Julia and Forrest celebrated the birth of their beautiful son Justin Okitsu in April of 2015.  Forrest adored his son wanting to be a good father to him.  He loved to be silly and play tickle monster with Justin.

Forrest loved being around animals and chose a profession where he could work with them daily.  He had a talent for working with computers and any electronic gadget. He enjoyed playing video games and being in the company of friends and family.   He loved anime and wanted to attend an anime convention. Forrest was a compassionate caretaker to anyone who was ill, staying up all night to make sure they took their medication and had chicken broth to make them feel better.  He was obsessed with star wars and loved scary movie nights.
Forrest's favorite colors were blue and green but he liked purple too because his wife Julia liked the color. He would never turn down sushi or Greek food. He preferred things as close to nature as he could get.  He liked card games like magic, Yu-Gi-Oh and exploding kittens. He had an unhealthy addiction to beef jerky and sour candy.
Forrest always wanted to be a pilot and to fly. He was thinking of getting out of veterinary and going into law enforcement to better relate to his parents. He was pretty tone deaf but when he was alone with his wife he would sing with her.

Forrest will be laid to rest at the Claquato Cemetery on April 28, 2017, near family who have proceeded him.  His service will be provided by the Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary.
