Evelyn G Geist

Evelyn G. Geist, age 76, passed away at her home in Rochester on May 24, 2016.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cooks Hill Community Church Thursday June 2, 2016 at 11am.

Evelyn Geist was born in Zumbrota Minnesota on April 11, 1940 to Hilmer and Josephine Thoreson.

Evelyn was married to Robert W Geist in 1962 in Zumbrota Minnesota.

Evelyn worked in Management at Burger King and
Dairy Queen. She was also PTA president and volunteer at Edison Elementary, a volunteer at the Red Cross where she taught CPR, Girl Scout Leader and a familiar face of goodwill, kindness and acceptance in the community. She could always be heard at sporting events cheering on the players. She loved and supported her children and was known as an awesome mom. Evelyn was dedicated to her faith and it showed in her relationships with others. She was warm, kind, helpful and accepting of others no matter what their personal walk of life.

Evelyn Geist is survived by her children; Christine Taylor (Pat Taylor), Bill Geist (Marci Geist), and Tricia Geist, Grandchildren;  Alicia Taylor, Ariel Geist, Zac Taylor, Kayla Geist, Anjel Gifford, Jeremy Due, and Greg Cordero.

Evelyn Geist is preceded in death by her late husband Robert Geist and her daughter Kathy Geist.
