Violet Brown, 88, passed away at Providence Centralia Hospital on Saturday, April 10th, 2021. She peacefully went home to be with Jesus and loved ones that have passed before her. Violet was born in Missoula, Montana, on July 12th, 1932 to Emmert Clapper and Bertha Baker.
Violet married the love of her life, Irv Brown in Centralia, Wash. They had 13 children, Violet had 8 and Irv had 5 when they met each other, Steve, Renee, Don, Terry, Larry, Lori, Sherrie, Rhonda John, Chuck, Doug, Lowey, and Pam. Irv passed away, October 21, 2011.
Violet loved being outdoors and she had many hobbies that enjoyed. She loved fishing, camping, hunting, dancing, boating, hiking, mushroom picking, being outdoors, being at beaches, mountains, lakes, and streams. All of her favorite activities involved being outside.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Irv, children, Steve, Renee, Don, and Terry, her brother, Sonny, and her sister, Dean.
Violet is survived by her children Larry McCord, Lori (Joe) Delaney, Sherrie (Tom) McIntyre, Rhonda (Gary) Estep, stepchildren, John Brown, Chuck Brown, Doug Brown, Lowey Brown, and Pam Brown, sibling, Delores Cravens, 22 grandchildren, Melinda, Nicole, Stephanie, Robert, Wade, Erin, Autumn, Tiffany, Christina, Fred, Justin, Erin, Travis, Sara, Anna, Katie, Jennifer, Chaz, Alisha, Cheri Rae, Samantha, and Heather, and numerous great and great great grandchildren
A memorial service will be held at Newell Hoerling’s Mortuary, Centralia, Wash. on Friday May 14th at 2pm followed by a celebration of life with a potluck at Borst Park, Kitchen #1, from 4pm to 7pm.
