Robert (Bob) Lewis Carter Sr., age 80, passed away at his home in Centralia, Washington on April 13th, 2020.
Bob was born on March 3, 1940 to Sally Ellen West and Jack Wilburn Carter in Aberdeen Washington. He received a Bachelor’s Degree at Western Washington State University in Education and a Master’s Degree in Public School Administration. He met his wife Carol Lynn Bartlett while living in Bellingham where they met on a blind date, while they both were attending WWU. They were together 58 years and had three children.
Bob loved his job as Principal at the elementary school but also liked fishing, golf, spending time with his buddies every morning for coffee, and community involvement; but the pride and joy of his life was his family.
Robert is survived by his wife, Carol Lynn Carter; his sons, Robert Carter Jr. (Kristin Byrne) and David Carter; daughter, Ann Lee- hunter (Alfred Hunter); and grandchildren, Matthew Lee (Yagmur Ataman), Brandon Lee, Ava Carter, and Abby Carter.
