Mildred was born on February 4, 1928, in Powell OK to Hugh John Muchmore (of Indian Territory, Tahlequah, Cherokee County, OK, in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains), and Minnie Lee Looney of Milam County, TX. She is 1 of 8 children and attended schools in Powell OK. She moved to Chickasha OK, met & married Dale Niram Goodwyn on February 27, 1946. They started their married life in Texas, where Dale worked in an oil field, while Mildred was a housewife, and prevailed as a waitress for many years, raising 5 children. They moved to Napavine WA in 1964, then to Chehalis in 1990.
She was the last of her siblings surviving. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale in 1994; children Leslie Dale (1946-2019); Wilma Delores (1949-2016); Terry Dean (1956-2006). Survived by her sons, Donald, of Chehalis WA and Leon, of Chehalis WA; 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Mildred spent her time engaged in crosswords and puzzles, as well as being an avid reader. She enjoyed lunches with her girlfriends and visiting her many grandchildren, over the years. She had a smile and laugh that would brighten up the room, with happiness and was a joy to just be sitting around a table or indulging in a sweet treat of her homemade German Chocolate Cake, or the Cornbread Stuffing she made every year for the holiday family gatherings. She will be missed and remembered with great love.
There will be a graveside service for her at Shoestring Cemetery WA-
