Kenneth William Delaney, 74, died at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Necedah, Wisconsin on July 24, 1947, to William and Mae (Beeckler) Delaney.
Kenneth was drafted into the army and was later discharged. He worked for Boeing and Transalta coal mining. Kenneth went to Centralia High School where he graduated in 1965 and got married two years later to Judith Harrison. He was nicknamed “Grumpy” by his grandchildren. Kenneth loved his family and that was the most important thing in his life. He loved taking his grandchildren fishing. Kenneth and Judy traveled across the United States, from Washington to Hawaii to Wisconsin, South Dakota, New York, Louisiana, Maine, and Idaho. Kenneth loved spending time with his family and exploring. He would spend time in his woodworking shop at his home in Centralia, Wash. Kenneth was a man of many wonders who appreciated and cherished every moment with his family.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Judith Delaney; Children, Kathleen Owens, and William Delaney; Siblings, MaryEllen Gross, Barbara Dolan, Lois Coleman, Francis Arden, Patty Husko, Dorothy Murphy; Grandchildren, Kendra, Kristal, and Marissa; Great-grandchildren, Andrew, Chase, Trenton, Carson, and Harmony. And numerous nieces and nephews.
