Judith L Hall

Judy L. Hall, age 75, passed away at home in Centralia, WA surrounded by family.  She was born on September 6, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois to Charles and Elizabeth Tock.  Her parents traveled the country eventually settling on Centralia when she was 6.  Judy was 1 of 4 children.

Judy was a 1962 graduate of Centralia High School.  It was at Centralia Highschool that she met her future husband Larry in PE Dance Class.  They married in 1964 and started their family which resulted in 5 children Greta, Bob, Trisha, Richard and Randy, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  They never left Centralia always calling this area home.

Judy’s career was a mom, homemaker and accomplished seamstress. Many people in the Lewis County area had dresses, alterations, memory pillows and many other items hand-made by her.  Her love of sewing was seen by the countless hours her children had to endure in all fabric stores visited, some visits lasting years!

Judy received joy in visiting her children and grandchildren around the country.  During these visits as new cuisine from a different area was explored, she would try to figure out what was in it so she could make it at home.  To see her picking apart a carne asada burrito or some other item supplied us all small comic relief.

She was a proud mom of all 5 kids speaking highly of each one’s accomplishments.

Judy is survived by her husband Larry of 55 years, Children Greta, Bob, Trisha, Richard and Randy, sister Valli and several grand and great grand children. 

A private family gathering of remembrance will occur this week.   May 2020 a remembrance is being planned around their beloved neighborhood fire pit.
