Frank “Bud” Benedict Heinricher, passed away on December 9th, 2021, at the age of 102 years old. Frank was born in Centralia, Wash. to Sebastian and Josephine (Schwarz) Heinricher. He was the youngest of 7 children, earning him the lifelong nickname “Bud” from his older brothers. Frank attended St Mary’s School, Salzer Valley School, and graduated from Centralia High School in 1938.
Frank married Amy Brines in May of 1949 and they were married for 61 years until Amy’s passing in 2010. They had two children, Von Heinricher and Chris Blaser.
Frank was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, his dedication and integrity to those he loved was unwavering. He had a strong work ethic which started from a young age, and he taught his family about values and honor.
As a young man, Frank worked in the woods as a faller. When his children were born, he started working for the City of Centralia in the Water Department. And, in the late 1960s, Frank started his own business, Heinricher Continuous Gutters, which he ran until he retired in 1981.
Frank enjoyed the outdoors and loved deer and pheasant hunting, especially with his son and grandsons. Frank was a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of the American Legion.
Frank is survived by his son Von Heinricher and his wife Ann Heinricher, his daughter Chris Blaser and her husband Jerry Blaser, his 4 grandchildren - Luke Blaser and his wife Lesley, Lauren Cox and her husband Kevin, Jake Heinricher and his wife Sara, and Mahlia Heinricher and Luke Steelhammer. Frank is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Centralia at 11:00am on December 22, 2021, followed by a graveside service at Mt. View Cemetery.
