David Osby Obituary

David Osby (64) of Centralia, WA (Puyallup, WA) got his wings on Saturday, March 02, 2024.   
      David was born on October 3, 1959 in Kentwood, LA. He was the proud son of James and Frances Osby. He was 1 of 16 children.
      David went to Kentwood High School where he graduated in 1977. Soon after he joined the military where he served from 1978 to 2005 on active duty and in the Reserves. It was also when he met and fell in love with his wife of 26 years. David and Sharon married on July 3, 2000 in Lakewood, WA at the Chapel of the Lake.
      David loved spending time going camping (or “glamping”). He loved going on trips and vacations as well as spending time with his grandchildren, loved ones, and friends.
      David is proceeded in death by his parents, James & Frances Osby. As well as multiple siblings: Shirley Womack, Carolyn Osby, Clarence Osby, Raymond Osby, Melvin Osby, Diane Osby, Curtis Osby, Ronald Osby, and Connie Osby-Moore.
      David also leaves behind 3 brothers: “Mac” James Osby (Jean), Kenneth Osby (Beverly), and Robert Osby “Bec”.
      As well as 3 sisters: Lori Osby-Williams, Catherine Osby-Jackson (Anthony), and Sylvia Osby - Bartlett. 
      David leaves behind his two beautiful children Lekiva Wesby (Travis) and Devon Osby (Deanna). His stepchildren Tyeashia Braggs (Anthony “Tony” Sr.), Jonathan Jefferson II (Nona), Alexis Clayton (Jon), and all his 14 grandchildren: Tamia, Anthony, Tayana, Dizell, Blake, Brooklyn, Travis Jr. (Monti), Kylie, Braylin, Trinity, Amaya, Audrey, DJ, LeeAnn, and one expecting. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and lots of friends.
       David and Sharon would like to send their greatest love and appreciation for all of his friends and family who came during this time. As well as the family and friends who couldn’t be with us but in prayer. We love you all.
       David will be missed but he will never be forgotten.
