Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Reichert, 94, our beloved mother, left us suddenly on Saturday June 12th, 2021.
She was born on March 19th, 1927, in Chehalis Wash. to Gladys (Lewis) and Floyd Seymour and spent all her 94 years in Centralia, Wash. She graduated from Centralia High in 1945. She then married Keith Reichert and raised 3 sons. She devoted all her time to raising and making a “home” for her boys. Also, extended her love and devotion to her grandchildren. Betty went to work at JC Penny’s, Bonanza 88 Cent Store, Albertsons, and finally Safeway where she was a member of the Retail Clerks Union and retired in 1985.
Bettys Love for gardening was her lifelong passion and she shared many memories with family and friends that will continue to flourish and grow even after her passing.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Gladys and Floyd Seymour, a sister, Helen Richter and a son Ron Reichert.
Betty is survived by two sons, Gregg (Patty) Reichert of Centralia Wash. and Kevin (Jeanne) Reichert of Centralia Wash., 6 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and two very dear friends Vy Wylam, and Gracie Yadon.
At Bettys request there will be no service. A private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Centralia Wash.
