Wallace Hal 'Wally' Tippery was released to glory on January 21, 2023 at the age of 95. Wally was born January 8th, 1928, in Portland, Oregon, to Loyd and Ethel (Dahl) Tippery. He grew up in logging camps and on farms and ranches. He graduated from high school in Toledo, Washington, and worked in retail most of his life. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing, road trips, and woodworking. He could repair or build nearly anything, and he gave generously of his time and resources to his church and various charities and causes. Wally is preceded in death by three wives: Ollie Dollarhide, Francis Hodson, and Donna White. He is survived by his three children; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. There will be a celebration of Wally's life at 1:30 PM Saturday, February 18, 2023, at the First Christian Church at 1215 W Main Street in Centralia.
