Vivian O. Justice, age 85, passed away on November 5, 2014. She was born in Lewiston, Idaho on November 23, 1928 to Lynn and Pearl Schwandt. In 1945 she finished schooling in Idaho and moved to Pe Ell, WA to visit her mother. She met Ray Justice there and they were married on December 20, 1947. Together they had four sons. In 1855 they moved to Centralia, WA. In 1966 Vivian enrolled in the licensed Practical Nurse Program at Centralia College and graduated in June 1967. She worked at various nursing facilities throughout her career, the majority spent at St. Helens Hospital in Chehalis. She finished her career at Chehalis West Assisted Living Facility. After retirement she stayed active in various volunteer programs such as meals on wheels. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, and playing Pinochle with her friends. After Ray and Vivian retired they travelled throughout the western states. They also traveled to Hawaii, Mexico, and took many trips to Alaska. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 1/2 years Ray, son Greg, daughter in law Sally, her parents Lynn and Pearl, 2 sisters Mary and Wilma, and three brothers Lynn Jr., Bill and Gary. She is survived by her sons Ray (Judy), Brad (Toni) and Doug (Laura), one sister Thelma Fluke, 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Vivian has requested there be no services. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary. A memorial for Ray and Vivian will be held at a later date in Pe Ell, WA.
