Shirley Irene Lane left this earth in the early morning of November 23, 2023. Her spirit left her body, but she hasn't left us. She has made her presence known in the most unusual ways.
Shirley was born to George and Edith Brisbane on July 8, 1931, in Seattle, WA. Shirley was always known for her caring and giving personality. Her great love of helping people led her to a successful career in Hospitality. Even after retiring, she went out of her way to lend a helping hand whenever possible. When she wasn't helping others, Shirley could be found planting flowers or taking care of her yard, which is the best on the block, or going to garage sales. She never met a bargain she didn't like. She also took a lot of pleasure in sewing everything from Cabbage Patch dolls to quilts. Her family and friends will always miss her baking. She had the best cinnamon rolls around. Shirley never let her age act as a barrier to her having fun. After all, how many people do you know that would repel down a cliff to a creek on their 90th birthday?
Shirley was preceded in passing by her Grandparents: Elsa and Jack Grover; her parents, George and Edith Brisbane; and Linda Maxwell, and Mike Wilson.
She is survived by her life partner, Mike Kulesza; her children: John Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, Kathy Gorlich, Gina Morris, Robby Morris, Penny Brunton, and Shane Morris; Jill Archer, Kurt Kulesza, Todd Kulesza; her sister: Barbara Lois; brothers: Don, Michael, Randy, Wayne, and Jack Brisbane; 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
We know that Shirley, now free of the chains of her mortal body, is soaring amongst the angels. She wouldn't want your tears; rather when you think of her, think of ways that she helped others and do the same.
