Shawn Ross King, age 56, died Saturday, July 3, 2021 at home in Chehalis, WA. He was born December 30, 1964 in Chehalis, WA to Dale and Lorraine (Streeter) King. Shawn graduated from Centralia College with an Associate's Degree. On February 14, 1997, Shawn and Kelley (Tapscott) were married in Cannon Beach, OR. Shawn enjoyed working at Bonneville Power and in his free time you could find him creating metal art at his business, Iron King Metal Art. Shawn had an eye for design. You can see some of his artwork at Chehalis Bethel Church and at the entrance of the historic Washington Cemetery in Centralia where he fabricated the entrance archway. He loved camping, boating, golfing and cooking. Spending time with family and friends was very important to him. Survivors include wife, Kelley King; son, Gavin King; daughters, Savanah and her husband Jonnel Deacon, Mckenna Burton and Rylee King; grandchildren, Kashton King, Carson and Camryn Deacon, Navaeh, Nova and Sebastion Perez; brothers, Tim and Jason King and sister, Lisa King. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Lorraine King; sister, Teri Poach, and Uncle Skip Streeter. A funeral service will be held at Downtown Bethel Church, 413 N Tower Ave, Centralia, WA on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at noon.
