Ruth M. Solberg of Centralia, Washington, passed away May 3, 2015. She was born September 10, 1918 in Princeton, IL. to Charles William and Bessie Holmes Swanson. She married David Swanson and from that union were born two daughters, Nancy Ann and Susan Ray. Shew and David operated a specialty food store until he passed away on December 20, 1969. In 1982 she married Wesley Solberg of Washington State where he was employed at Mt. Rainier. After his retirement, they settled in Centralia. Survivors include her daughter Susan Salsman (Charles) of Centralia, granddaughter Gwen (Gary) Greenhow of Rockford, IL. 3 grandsons David Farrell of Rockford, IL. Steven (Jennifer) Farrell of Ohio, IL. and Joshua (Amber) Salsman of Centralia, WA. Four great grandchildren, step daughters Pat Henning and Elaine McDonald, and many nieces and nephwes. Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy, her husbands, for sisters and two brothers. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May 9th at 1:30PM at Mountain View Baptist Church in Centralia, WA. and interment will be at the ElmLawn Cemetery in Princeton, IL.
