Robert Bruce Keech, age 73, died Friday, February 25, 2022, at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He was born October 31, 1948, in Jacksonville, FL to Richard and Janet (Samples) Keech. At 10 years old Robert's family moved from Florida to Washington state. He was a 1966 graduate of W.F. West High School. He continued his education at Centralia College and received a two-year degree in art. Robert served in US Airforce, Army, and Navy for a total of 26 years. Robert married Carolyne Kleespie in 1970. Together they had 2 children. After 36 years of marriage, they were divorced but remained friends. Robert was employed as an outside telephone technician for US West Telephone Company until retirement. In his spare time Robert enjoyed video games, reading and all things "Harry Potter". 3 brothers survive him, Richard (Fely) Keech, Kent Keech and Roger (Venita) Keech; daughter Kristen (Dale) Stiltner of Bucoda, WA; son Stephen (Naida) Keech of Bucoda, WA.; 8 grandchildren, Sami (Kyle) Deatrich, Kaydie (Bryce) Pendergast, Tre (Cheyanne) Butterfield, Teana (Alyx) Deatrich, Jonathon (Natalie) Keech, Natty Keech, Zach Keech and Chase Stiltner; 1 great-grandchild, Noah Pendergast. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Celebration of Life is scheduled to begin at 1:00 pm, Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Bucoda Community Center, 101A E. 7th St., Bucoda WA, 98530.
