Richard Monroe Lee, age 89, passed away at St. Peters Providence hospital in Olympia Washington on June 21, 2016. He was born in Miles City Montana July 1, 1926 to Edward Lee and Lois Milliren. By the age of four, he had settled on Michigan Hill in Rochester Washington. On January 26, 1946, Richard was married to Josephine Evelyn Perrott. The two were very dedicated to each other throughout their lives and together they raised their family on Michigan Hill where they owned their tree farm. Richard worked for the Centralia Fire Department for 31 years and eventually retired as fire chief. His retirement was spent tending to his tree farm, traveling, and enjoying time with his grandchildren and family. Richard Lee is survived by his wife Josephine Lee and his children; Jerry Lee, Karen Oswald, Linda Laughlin, Robert Edward Lee, ten grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
