Obituary

Reda B. Schlotzhauer. At Age 91, She passed away very peacefully, over into our lords arms, and danced her way to heaven on April 10th 2015. She was surrounded by family and friends, at Willlapa Harbor Health and Rehab, where she was loved by all. She was a kind and caring lady that everyone loved. Reda was born on November 2nd 1923 in Fremont, Ohio. She was the 2nd child of 6 children. During World War 2, she met Army Sergeant, Marvin D. Collins, and they were married on March 2, 1944. He was the love of her life. After a year they moved back to where Marvin was from, to start their new life together in Centralia, Wa. Reda's, first job was working for Boeing she was one of the local Rosie Riveters. She then went on to work for 25 years for Kraft foods. When Kraft left she went to work for Lewis Co. Treasure office and after a year settled In and Retired from the Auditor's office as Deputy Auditor for Lewis Co. She belonged to the Chehalis Eagles, and to the local Children's Orthopedic group. Reda, loved to Dance, read books, played bingo, traveled, crochet, and loved to go to the Casino's. Her family was very important to her and loved them all very much, as she also love being a grandmother and great grandmother. Reda, was preceded in death by her beloved husbands, Marvin, and also Dale Schlotzhauer. She was blessed with two wonderful husbands. She also was preceded in death by her Sisters Eileen and Bernita , Brothers James and Ben, from Ohio, and Mississippi. She is survived by her Daughter Sharon Lindberg of Raymond. Grandchildren, Jeremy Kochrian (Leah) of Olympia, Christopher Kochrian (Jennifer) of Vancouver, Megan Kochrian (Christopher) of Raymond. Three great Granddaughters .Arianna , Samantha and Lilly, A sister Marilyn Kastner and sister in law Marilyn Hamilton and by many Nieces and Nephews in Ohio, and Mississippi. Arrangements were made at Newell and Hoerlings in Centralia, WA. You may visit www.newellhoerlings.com To leave condolences for the family. Her ashes will be place with her husband Marvin. A celebration of Of Life will be held on May 9th 2015, at the Chehalis Eagels, at 1:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital or charity of your choice.
