Patrick Wade Simmons, born on January 23rd, 1968 in Centralia, Washington, USA, and most recently residing in Oakville, Washington, has embarked on a new journey as of January 14th, 2026. If you're reading this, it means I've shuffled off this mortal coil and probably enjoying a game of darts or a rousing basketball match somewhere in the cosmos. I lived my life as I wanted, never shying away from the hard things others would not say. I was a loyal, charismatic, thoughtful, and loving individual. Although I was not religious, I respected the faith of others, and often found myself in the company of those who would speak of Christ, praying for me or my children.
I was a Facilities Manager by trade, working in the nonprofit sector. But that wasn't all there was to me. I was a man of many hobbies and interests. I had a knack for making grass, a passion that yielded beautiful gardens and yards. I was an avid collector of Jordans, a love I nurtured over the years. A self-proclaimed Sith Lord, I often found joy in the playful banter and camaraderie it brought. I loved going to the casino, cruising, and simply hanging out with my family. And let's not forget my love for sports - Basketball and Football were my favourites.
I lived in Seattle and Rochester before settling in Oakville, but my heart was always where my family was. I was a father to three beautiful children; Patrick Jr, Asa, and Payton Simmons, who were my greatest achievements in life. I loved them fiercely, and they were the driving force behind everything I did. They stood by me through thick and thin, their unwavering love and support a constant in my life. My father, Michael Simmons, passed before me, and I find solace in the thought of reuniting with him.
Living life on my own terms, loving hard, playing hard, and being proud of my children were the things that mattered most to me. As you remember me, recall the laughs, the good times, and the love I had for life. I lived fully, loved deeply, and tried to leave a mark on all those who were fortunate enough to cross my path.
In honour of my life well-lived, I invite you to share your memories of our time together, the shared laughs, the candid talks, or that unforgettable game of darts. Please visit my memorial page to upload photos and leave your memories of me. Your stories will help keep my spirit alive, and my love for life and my family perpetuating.
