Nellie May (Reedy) Pritchard passed away peacefully at Sharon Care Center July 27, 2013 at the age of 87. She was born in Fairfield, Wash., on Sept. 20, 1925 to John and Ruth Reedy. She married William Pritchard on April 21, 1945 in Spokane, Wash., where they raised their family. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 13, 1993 and son Buddy who died at birth. She is survived by her son, William Jr. (Bill), his wife Bobbi Guscott and their three children, Joyce, William Benjamin and James. Son, Kenneth, his wife Laura Gibson and their three children, Keri, Valeri and Juli. Daughter, Ruth Ann, husband Darrel Clark and their three children, Kevin, Kendra and Cameron. Along with nine grandchildren, Nellie had 20 great-grandchildren. In 1978, Bill and Nellie sold their home in Spokane and moved to their newly built home in Rochester, Wash. She volunteered many hours at Rochester Primary School, St. Mark's Lutheran Church, and the local food bank and was always known to bake up some of her favorite recipes for the bake sales. She was loved by all of her family and friends and will be missed greatly. A funeral service will be on August 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 10000 U.S. Hwy 12, Rochester. Interment will be at the Grand Mound Cemetery, Rochester. Family service by the Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary of Centralia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Assured Hospice.
