Mildred Annie Aust Teitzel Born Feb. 13, 1920 to Fred and Annie Keller Aust, at home in the Boi8sfort Valley. Passed away on Sept. 30, 2014. Mildred graduated from Boisfort High School and was so proud that her father, as a school board member, gave her the diploma. She then went on to college and was a graduate of Western Washington College in Bellingham. From there she went on to teach school in Hoquiam and Ryderwood, WA. She met and married the love of her life Keene L. Teitzel on Aug.8, 1942. They lived their lives on the North Fork and Middle Fork of the Newaukum, raising chickens and cattle. Born to this union were a son and daughter Gary and Janis, in 1961 she resumed her teaching career in her beloved Boisfort School where she taught until 1976. She loved to garden and her flowers and playing BUNKO with the neighborhood women. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keene, daughter Janis, three brothers and one sister and their spouses. Missing her are her son Gary and wife Sharon, four grandchildren Valerie, Julie, Alan and Zachary and their spouses, nine great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the girls at Logan Manor II for their kind and loving care of mom, special angels. Graveside services will be at Sunset Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Memorials in honor of Mildred can be made to your favorite charity.
