McLaren Peter Mitchell, 75, passed away June 23, 2012 at Capital Medical Center, Olympia, Wash. Larry as most people knew him, was born in Colraine Minn., and shortly after that, the family moved to Tuscon, Ariz. He grew up in Yuma and lived there until his move to the L.A. area. He moved to the local area in 1991 and lived here until his passing. He was preceded in death by his father, McLaren, his mother Mildred and his three siblings, Jo Ann, Dean and Don and his daughter, Trish. Larry is survived by his wife of eight years, Sharon, and his children, Susie, Pam, Scott, Rene' Michael and Josha. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses, Napavine congregation, where there will be a memorial service at 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall, 217 Harmon Rd. He enjoyed his lifetime work as a research engineer after completing four years of college at the University of Arizona.
