Marvin "Diesel Dan" Hull passed away May 12th, 2025.
Born to Thaddeus and Helen Hull in Rochester Washington on December 2nd,1938. He was the oldest of six children: brothers Bobby (Faye), Gary (Mary), Richard (Jackie), and Johnny, and sisters Margie Harris and Jean Young.
In 1957, Dan met and married Shirley Sandstrom. Together they raised their eight children: Mark (Lory), Sharon Baker (Ed), Matt, Shellee Christopherson (Mike), Marty (Lisa), Sandee Gray (Darrell), Michael, and Shawn.
Dan began his career with Standard Oil at the age of 16. He would later go on to own and operate the Chevron Distributorship on Reynolds Road in Centralia.
After Shirley's death, Dan met and married Sherry Withrow in 1996. Together they travelled and explored the world.
Dan enjoyed camping with his family, hunting, fishing, clam digging, and a good game of cards. You could often find him on his tractor down at the river mowing and working on his park.
In addition to his eight children, Dan also had three stepchildren: Tanya Laeger (Ron), Jennifer Pichler (Raimund), and Chad Withrow (Bree).
Dan was preceded in death by his brother John and sister Jean Young, and three of his children, Sandee, Mike, and Shawn.
He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
