In Loving Memory of Maria Isabel Mojica-Garcia

It is with deeply broken hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Isabel Mojica-Garcia on April 27, 2026.

Maria was the center of our family — a loving wife for 40 beautiful years, a devoted mother to two daughters, and a proud grandmother of 10 who lovingly called her “Tita.” She was also a cherished sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose love touched everyone blessed enough to know her.

To know Maria was to know warmth, laughter, comfort, and unconditional love. She had a beautiful way of making people feel seen, cared for, and welcomed wherever she went. Her heart was selfless, always putting others before herself and making sure everyone around her was okay.

One of the many ways Maria showed her love was through her passion for cooking. She lovingly prepared meals for family gatherings and catered countless events alongside loved ones, bringing people together through food, laughter, and celebration. Her presence could light up any room, and no gathering ever felt complete without her.

Maria loved singing, dancing, celebrating life, and spending time surrounded by the people she loved most. She was truly the life of the party, filling every space with joy, humor, and unforgettable memories. She especially loved watching her favorite sports teams and cheering proudly from the sidelines while watching her grandchildren play football, baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and many other sports. Nothing made her happier than supporting the people she loved.

Above all, Maria’s greatest love was her family. She loved deeply, supported endlessly, and gave so much of herself to the people around her. The bond she created with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends is something that will never fade.

The loss of Maria leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express. She was the heart of our family — our comfort, our laughter, and our safe place. Though she is no longer physically with us, her love will continue to guide us, and her memory will forever live on in our hearts.

We will miss her deeply every single day and cherish every moment, lesson, and memory she gave us.

Con el corazón profundamente destrozado anunciamos el fallecimiento de Maria Isabel Mojica-Garcia el 27 de abril de 2026.

Maria fue el centro de nuestra familia — una esposa amorosa durante 40 hermosos años, una madre dedicada de dos hijas y una orgullosa abuela de 10 nietos que cariñosamente la llamaban “Tita.” También fue una querida hermana, tía, prima y amiga, cuyo amor tocó la vida de todos los que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla.

Conocer a Maria era conocer calidez, alegría, consuelo y amor incondicional. Tenía una manera especial de hacer que todos se sintieran vistos, cuidados y bienvenidos dondequiera que estuviera. Su corazón era generoso y siempre ponía a los demás antes que a ella misma, asegurándose de que todos a su alrededor estuvieran bien.

Una de las muchas maneras en que Maria demostraba su amor era a través de su pasión por la cocina. Con mucho cariño preparaba comida para reuniones familiares y ayudaba en incontables eventos y caterings junto a sus seres queridos, uniendo a las personas a través de la comida, las risas y la celebración. Su presencia iluminaba cualquier lugar, y ninguna reunión se sentía completa sin ella.

Maria amaba cantar, bailar, celebrar la vida y pasar tiempo rodeada de las personas que más amaba. Verdaderamente era el alma de la fiesta, llenando cada espacio de alegría, humor y recuerdos inolvidables. Le encantaba ver a sus equipos favoritos y apoyar con orgullo a sus nietos mientras jugaban fútbol americano, béisbol, fútbol, voleibol, baloncesto y muchos otros deportes. Nada la hacía más feliz que apoyar a las personas que tanto amaba.

Por encima de todo, el mayor amor de Maria fue su familia. Amó profundamente, apoyó incondicionalmente y entregó tanto de sí misma a las personas que la rodeaban. El vínculo que creó con sus hijas, nietos, familia y amistades jamás desaparecerá.

La pérdida de Maria deja un vacío que las palabras no pueden expresar por completo. Ella era el corazón de nuestra familia — nuestro consuelo, nuestras risas y nuestro lugar seguro. Aunque ya no esté físicamente con nosotros, su amor seguirá guiándonos y su memoria vivirá para siempre en nuestros corazones.

La extrañaremos profundamente todos los días y atesoraremos cada momento, enseñanza y recuerdo que nos dejó.
