Centralia resident Marcella M. Garland, age 97, passed away at Prestige Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center on March 17, 2019. Marcella was born on December 18, 1921 to Albert and Edith Kaus in Springfield Illinois. Marcella is survived by her four daughters; Nancy Obi, Denice Garland, Elesia Chandler, and Sylvia Posey, Nine Grandchildren and many Greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Virgil Garland Jr. No services are scheduled at this time. Under the care of Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary.
