Loryn Elizabeth (Monaghan) McDonald passed away on April 27th 2015 at St. Peters Hospital in Olympia, WA. She was 71 years of age. She passed peacefully with family at her side.Loryn resided in Centralia, WA; Marathon, FL; Chicago, IL.
Loryn was born in Malone, NY on January 16th, 1944 to Edward and Thelma (Cappiello) Monaghan. She immediately began living life to its fullest! Loryn had a zest for life that was beyond compare and loved family and friends with all her heart. While she lived in many wonderful parts of our country, she was always near family and made new "families" in each of her homes. She held them all in the highest regard and loved us all dearly. Loryn was always quick to tell a story and loved to share the wonders of life. She seized every opportunity to have a great time. She will be missed by all, but has moved on to a better place and her next adventure, in Heaven.

Loryn is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law: Michael and Jacqueline McDonald of Centralia, WA and Patrick McDonald of Islamorada, FL; her sisters and their husbands: Karen (Monaghan) and John Mahoney of Malone, NY; Maxine (Monaghan) and Andre Valois of Syracuse, NY; her step-sisters, Carol Holmes, and Gail Scott of Malone, NY; and the apple of her eye, her grandson: Declan McDonald of Centralia, WA.
Celebrations of Life will be scheduled in Malone, NY, the Florida Keys and Centralia WA.
