Lloyd Gayle Werre passed away on Oct. 20, 2012 at the University of Washington Medical Center. He slipped peacefully from this life with his loving wife, Margaret, by his side.
Lloyd was born April 15, 1946, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Fred and Alma (Davidson) Werre. He grew up and raised his own family there until 1993, when he moved to Washington. He met Margaret shortly thereafter and they were married July 27, 1996. He worked in sales and between that and his membership and service in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, met many, many members of the community.
Lloyd's free time was taken up with winning at cards, taking walks down the country road, loving his grandchildren, and galavanting across the countryside in his van or on an ATV.
Lloyd is survived by his wife, Margaret (McKee) Werre, daughter, Christine (Kevin) Shaner of Columbus, Ohio, and their children, Hannah and Nathan, son, Darrin (Amy) Werre of Grand Forks, N.D., and their children, Tristan and Bryer, daughter, Sarah (C. Brandon) Chapman of Rochester, Wash., and their children, Sterling, Hyrum, Jonah, and James, and daughter, Peggy Crawford of Centralia, Wash.
He loved everyone he met and taught us all what it truly means to be loved and show love in return.
Services will be Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing at 12:00 noon, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2801 Mt. Vista Ave, Centralia, WA 98531. The internment will occur immediately following at Grand Mound Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are through Newell-Hoerlings Mortuary, Centralia, Wash.
