Leonard H Hoyt, 78 Passed away at home on November 18 2014. He was born March 15,1936 in Chehalis. He attended and Graduated from Mossyrock High School. After school he worked and lived in the Mossyrock area before moving to Chehalis. Leonard owned many businesses in the Chehalis area and was best known for Chehalis Auto & Truck and CAT trucking. He joined the Lewis county fire district 6 in 1967 and retired in 1989 after serving 22 years mostly as assistant chief. Leonard loved to work on anything and everything from cars to wood working and loved being outdoors with his birds. He loved to go to auctions and buy boxes of treasures. He enjoyed collecting. He was a member of the Chehalis Eagles and Foresters. Leonard is survived by his wife of 33 years, Karen . Children , Allen (April)Hoyt Onalaska, Doneia (Bernardino) Santiago Mossyrock, Karrie Hoyt Chehalis, Jeff Brown ,Williston , N.D. Robbyn Lambert Portland Or., Doug Carmen Phoenix Ariz., Scott Carmen Onalaska, Kris Ritchey Centralia, 16 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Juanita, Bessy, Dorothy, brother Duane. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Vera Hoyt.
