Lawrence (Larry) Woodard slipped the bonds of this earth, into the arms of God our Father, March 11, 2023. He joined his parents Floyd and Etta; his siblings Al, Steve, and Bobbie; and niece Beth. His sisters Pat and Stella; brother Irv; and more than a dozen loved nieces and nephews; will miss his humor and trivia questions. Larry was born in San Diego on November 21, 1938; grew to his teens in Iowa; then lived in Seattle for over 50 years. Before retirement, he worked mainly as an auto mechanic and doing odd jobs. He loved airplanes and educated himself about all aspects of them, as well as many of the test pilots. He built quite a few Remote-Control planes as a hobby. For memorials, please don't smoke! Donations to Lung Cancer research will be appreciated. Services for the family will be held at Grand Mound Cemetery on March 23, 2023. Arrangements are under the care of Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary.
