John Morling Sudler, 88, of Centralia, WA, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. John was born in Arlington, WA and raised in Yakima and Seattle. He graduated from Queen Anne High School and then enlisted as a Marine in WW II, serving in the Pacific Theatre. He then attended the University of Washington, where he graduated as a mining engineer. He worked three years in Honduras and then the remainder of his career for Phelps Dodge Corporation in Tyrone, New Mexico and Ajo and Morenci, Arizona. John is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Georgia Sudler, his daughters, Carla Hennesy and her husband Mike and Andrea Pugh. His granddaughters, Claire Hacker and her husband David and Ashley Parker and her husband Kevin; his Great Grandsons; Maxwell and Sean Parker.He is also survived by six nephews and nieces, and by his many brothers and sisters in Christ at Mountain View Baptist Church in Centralia.
