Jeri Lavonne (Sienko) Longland, 78, of Shelton Washington passed away, Monday, September 19th, 2022 at Tacoma General Hospital after an extended illness. She was born September 29, 1943, the only child of the late Valentine (Val) and Mildred (Mickey) Sienko in Olympia, WA. She married her lifelong love Loren Lee Longland on April 11th, 1992. She attended Irene S. Reed High School. She later went on to become a Certified Nurses Assistant/Shower Aide, and worked in this field for over 25 years. She took pride in her patients' personal care, often purchasing hair accessories or cologne/perfume for them. At her last job, she created a "shower room" full of color and joy for the patients which they ultimately named, "The Fish Pond". Her passions led her to collecting various items from Clothing to 'Cow & Rooster' Kitchen accessories, to Betty Boop. She loved watching sports and was a fan of football (The Seahawks), and collecting fan-based memorabilia, this resulted in her getting her picture taken with the Seattle Seahawk Cheerleaders! The love continued on with Nascar, and Sprint Car racing, and attending many races at Grays Harbor Raceway. She enjoyed holiday functions where she could "dress up" for the occasion, and did so quite often. Although she took pride in all of these activities, what she loved the most was her Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren. Spending time with all of them, and attending almost every family function, and school event she could. She would show her support loudly and proudly at all times. She is survived by her husband Loren Longland, Shelton WA. First born son Larry D. Spencer, Shelton. Daughters Lorena (Longland) Robertson and son-in-law Paul, Elma WA. Brenda Longland O'Leary, Centralia WA. And Dawn (Longland) Staggs, and son-in-law Rick, Tulsa Oklahoma. Surviving grandchildren are Lee Jay Robertson Shelton, WA; Shawn Vandervort & wife Kendra Spanaway, WA; Trittany (Plews) Heggie & her husband Brian Rochester, WA; Chase Plews & fiancee Veronica Omak, WA; Kyle Carlson & fiancee Carelynn Coosbay, OR; Hunter, Ciara & Connor Staggs, Tulsa Oklahoma. Surviving Great-Grandchildren are Tryssa Robertson, Jenna Vandervort, Jack Vandervort, Evelyn Robertson, Jason Plews, McKinley Heggie, Josiah Plews, Nora Vandervort, Abigail-lynn Heggie, and due November Zachary Plews. She is preceded in death by her parents, son Robert (Bobby) Teten; and Jeff Longland. Beloved pets Kenai & Jack. Celebration of Life to be held at the Shelton Yacht Club October 23, 2022 at 11:00 am.
