Ida Virginia (Houlbjerg) Kambich was born in Polson, Mont., on Feb. 6, 1929 to SJ and Sydonia Houlbjerg. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie, sister, Sydonia, a daughter, Marilyn and her husband, James after nearly 60 years of marriage. She is survived by brothers, SJ "Butch," and Charles, sisters, Mary & June, children, Chris of Winlock, Carolyn of Centralia, Jim of Chehalis and Tom of Tenino, as well as 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Ida loved bowling, gardening, traveling, casino trips and her family. A celebration of life will be on Jan. 12, 2013 at the Virgil R. Lee building in Chehalis from 12:00-4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurses Foundation.
