Harold Neilsen Jr., passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday June 16th. Harold was born in Kirkland, Wash. to Harold and Marjorie (Fisher) Neilsen on December 28, 1942. Harold married Marie McLaughlin in 1984. Harold was an active member and officer of the Grange organization and worked as a volunteer during many events. Harold also was a member of the 508, 40, and 8 Veterans organization, having a role on the Honor Guard serving at funerals for Veterans. Harold is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marjorie (Fisher) Neilsen, a daughter, Cheryl Neilsen and his first wife, Helen Neilsen. Harold is survived by his loving wife, Marie Neilsen, his children, Daniel Neilsen, Kimberly Neilsen, Roberta McLaughlin, and Donna Mattison, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 2nd at 10am at Grand Mound Cemetery followed by a Memorial Potluck Luncheon at the Cowlitz Prairie Grange Hall at 11:30am.
