Emma Orning, age 96 passed away peacefully on October 3, 2014 in Centralia, WA. She was born to Peter and Margariete Breckel January 6, 1918 in Linton, North Dakota. At age 18 she moved Centralia, WA, where she worked taking care of children and later met her husband Oiva. Emma & Oiva loved each other very much they eventuly married and resided in Rochester. She lived in the same house in Rochester for over 75 years until moving into Sharon Care of Centralia in 2013. Emma's family would like to thank Sharon Care "West Wing" for the wonderful care that was given to our mother. We would also like to thank Connie Delgado for faithfully visiting & helping with her care. Emma's favorite saying was "Never be late" she would rather be 15 min. early than 1 min. late. A few of the many things that she enjoyed doing was, Quilting, Picture taking, Garage Sales, Restoring Furniture and visiting with friends. Emma is preceded in death by her husband, Oiva Orning of 56 years; Grandson, Tracy Hasvold of Randle; 6 brothers, Jake & Henry Breckel of North Dakota; Adam & Ted Breckel of Centralia; John Breckel of Bremerton; Emanuell Breckel of Portland, Oregon, and 3 sisters; Christine & Rose Oster of Centralia, and Freda Nelson of North Dakota. She is survived by; son, Robert Orning of Rochester; daughter, Marline (Chuck) Hasvold of Randle; 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren & 7 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday October 10, 2014 at 1PM at Grand Mound Cemetery 6300 183rd Ave SW Rochester, WA. A Reception will follow at the Swede Hall in Rochester, Wa.
