Edna Mae Mocan, 99, died February 15, 2015. She was born on December 15, 1915 at home in Centralia to George and Callie Webster.
She had three brothers, Frank Webster, Don Webster and Dale Webster.
On February 14, 1934, Edna married Louis Mocan. They were married for 66 years. They had two sons, Bob and Marvin.
Edna worked at Bucoda Mill for many years. She then owned her own restaurant for a while, she later went to work at a chicken processing plant in Chehalis until she retired.
She and Louie enjoyed traveling and camping at the beach. She also enjoyed painting pictures, clam digging and the ocean. Edna loved to cook and had many holidays at the couple's home.
Edna lived in Centralia her entire life until 1999, when she and Louis moved into Heritage House in Morton.
She was a member of the Morton First Church of God.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Frank and Don Webster, and her husband Louie.
She is survived by her two sons, Bob Mocan (Myrna) of Morton and Marvin Mocan (Katherine) of Silverdale; brother Dale (Jean) Webster; 10 grandchildren and many, many great and great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Heritage House and Joie Nyman and staff for their wonderful care of mom. She enjoyed playing bingo and all the other great activities the Heritage House crew provided.
The family also thanks the Morton General Hospital staff for their care of mom.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Morton First Church of God with Pastor Bill Shepherd officiating. A potluck will follow the service.
