Obituary

Douglas Gene Wilson was born Dec. 1, 1942 in the Boistfort Valley and passed away on March 11, 2013. His parents are Melvin "Mole" and Betty June (Trotter) Wilson. He married Pat (Hamilton) Wilson in 1973. Except for his Naval service, he lived his entire life in the Boistfort Valley. He worked with his father logging for many years, then began farming. Hunting and fishing were his passions. Doug loved his nieces and nephews and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren. He loved to support their baseball, basketball, wrestling and 4-H projects. He spent 33 years serving on the Boistfort School Board. Doug had an amazing sense of humor. He loved to laugh and to make other people laugh with him. His jokes and pranks were legendary. He always enjoyed any kind of fun. Survivors include wife, Pat; children, Aaron Wilson (Dollie) and their children Jesse, Franke, and Wyatt of Curtis; Nikki Wilson and her child Trevor Roudabush of Curtis; and Todd Wilson of Mill Valley, Calif.; father, Mole Wilson of Chehalis; siblings, Gary Wilson of Curtis, Greg and Pat Wilson of Adna and Melody and Willie Nishi of Hawaii; and a large extended family. He is preceded in death by mother, June Wilson and sister, Vickie Hedges. Memorial Services and reception will be held at Boistfort Gym at 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 16, 2013.
