Doris Grace Hargadon, age 93, passed away on July 4, 2020 at Sharon Care Center in Centralia, WA. She was born on March 3, 1927 to Elmer and Grace (Stafford) Nelson in Tacoma, WA. She attended University Place School, married Bernie Hargadon, and divorced in 1957. She worked at Nalley's Pickle Plant first and then became a school bus driver and custodian. Eventually, she became a full time custodian. Doris loved gambling at all the casinos and liked to bowl. She was a great Seahawks fan, Mariners fan, and she was also a Cougar fan. Doris is survived by her three daughters, Kathy (Art) Larson, Carroll (Bill) Woody, and Gina Chaney; son, Tom Hargadon; sister, Emma Doan; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer E Nelson and Grace (Stafford) Nelson; ex-husband, Bernie Hargadon; brother, Bud Nelson; and sister, Bev Kilkenny.
