On June 7, 2014 Donald Paul Machado passed away peacefully from Pancreatic Cancer. Don was born on April 16, 1943 in Brentwood California. He is the son of Edward and Betty Machado. Don has been a resident of Centralia Wa. since 1970, where he raised his family. Don first worked at Briarwood Farms then at Aramark where he retired after 29 years. Don's passion was coaching kids in baseball and football where he made many great friendships along the way. There was nothing more Don loved than spending time with family, grandkids and watching them play sports. He never missed a game until he became ill but still continued to do his best to make games and events whenever possible. Don also enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, golfing and is known for his skills on the grill. One of Don's most recent cherished times was attending the Machado family reunion in California last August. He is survived by his wife Lenora Machado, Daughter Lynette Machado Whalen (John Whalen), Daughter Kristina Machado Krueger (John Krueger), Son Vince Machado (Courtney Machado). Don has five grandchildren, Cole Krueger, Kaitlyn Whalen, Brady Krueger, Ashlyn Whalen, and Sayde Machado. Don is survived by his brother Tony Machado and sister Sharon Dejesus. A memorial service will be on June 21, 2014 at Immanuel Lutheran Church at 3 pm. 1209 N. Scheuber Rd. Centralia Wa. 98531. Reception to follow.
