On July 18, 2012 God called home his beloved child Donald "Hillbilly" Boyd Blackburn II of an apparent heart attack. Born Jan. 9, 1960 in Shelby, Ohio. He graduated from Shelby Senior High in 1978.
Hillbilly made his home in Bucoda, Wash., for the 30 years where he was known throughout the state for his abilities to rebuild and fix Harley, Norton and Indian motorcycles. He was considered a master mechanic though he had no formal training. He was able to fix and rebuild bikes that have been sent around the world including Japan and Australia.
He worked at Lemay as a driver and Mechanic where his talents were relied on daily.
He was not a formal church goer but had a strong faith in God and deeply respected local Pastor Becker and Pastor Lauren.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Jeanine Blackburn.
He is survived by his father and mother, Donald Boyd and Marylin Rae Blackburn of Reno, Nev., and sister and husband, Mariah and Robert Crahen of Mansfield, Ohio, nephew, Zackariah Boyd B. Crahen, U.S.A. Army, step-siblings, Jeffry and Cindy Sorensen of Centralia, Wash., Dawn and Bruce Vidal of Lake Havasu, Ariz., Susan and Christopher Thorson of Truckee, Nev.
Bucoda family he is preceded in death by, Gator, Chuckles, Christy, Jules and Artman.
Bucoda family he is survived by, Cat, Julie, Kenny, Bubbles, Wrong Way, Jill Booger, Debbie, Montey, Gretchen, Golo, Lisa, Audrey, Mike, Hedi, Low Rider and Shelly Pat.
He was a much loved part of the local motorcycle family and will be greatly missed.
The world will be a little duller without the twinkle of his eye and his generous spirit
