Diane Lynn Black was born July 20, 1948 in Centralia, Washington to George and Irene (Secena) Black. She died on July 7, 2022 in Renton, Washington at the age of 73. She graduated from Aberdeen Weatherwax High School in 1966, and from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971. Diane worked for SeaLand Services/Horizon Lines in Tacoma for over 40 years and retired in 2015. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and watching the Seahawks. Diane is survived by her sister Valerie Black of Seatac, Washington. She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Wanda Black, and brother Charles Black. If you would like to make a donation in Diane's name, her family suggests a contribution to the American Lung Association. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
