Delores May "Dee" Cravens (Clapper), born April 11, 1930, in Lambert, Montana, passed away peacefully July 5, 2026, in Centralia, Washington, at the age of 96. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend who brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.

Delores was the cherished daughter of Jesse Clapper and Bertha Townsend, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jon Rousseau. She is survived by her three daughters, Debra Stickler, Denise Fosnacht and Dawnette Rousseau. Her legacy lives on through numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

A woman of many passions, Delores loved to travel and explore new places. Her adventurous spirit often led her on camping trips, where she could immerse herself in nature's beauty. Whether playing games with loved ones or enjoying the excitement of casinos, Delores embraced life with enthusiasm and a sense of fun.

Above all else, Delores treasured time spent with her family. She adored her grandchildren and found immense joy in their company. Her love extended beyond blood ties; she had a remarkable ability to turn friends into family through her kindness and genuine care for others. This was especially evident in the deep bonds she formed with her loving caregivers at Oakwood Haven.

Delores touched countless lives with her warmth and generosity. Her presence was a source of comfort and happiness to those around her. As we remember her vibrant spirit and the love she shared so freely, may we find solace in the memories she leaves behind.

A celebration of life will be held Aug. 2 at 2 p.m. at Borst Park.
