Daniel "Danny" Lester Geason Jr., born in Centralia, WA on January 6, 1967, peacefully passed away on June 22, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. He was the beloved son of Daniel Gleason Sr. and Isabelle (McJoe) Gleason. Danny is survived by his sister, Lynn Gleason; adopted brother, Patrick; adopted sister, Danielle; and was cherished by his aunts, Virginia "Dolly" Canales and Joan "Boots" Martin, both of Oakville. He is also survived by aunts, Sharon Gleason and Nola Gleason, both of Nisqually; as well as uncles, Eldon Gleason of Nisqually, and William Heck of Las Vegas, NV. He leaves behind numerous cousins who meant the world to him. Danny spent his formative years in Oakville, WA; where he attended school and formed lifelong friendships. He dedicated many years of his life to service, working as a security guard at Lucky Eagle Casino and later as a facilities grounds keeper for the Chehalis Tribe. His commitment and diligence were admired by all who knew him. Throughout his life Danny faced adversity with courage and grace. Despite a valiant battle with cancer, he remained a source of a soft smile and always a comforting exchange. In his final moments, Danny was comforted by the presence of his father and autie Dolly and auntie Boots, who stood by him with unwavering love. Danny will be remembered for his kindness, his unwavering loyalty to his family and friends, and his love for the community he served. His warm smile and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. Funeral services for Danny will be held on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024, at 10am at the Oakville Shaker church, burial at the Chehalis Tribal Cemetery and dinner to follow at the Chehalis Tribal Center, allowing family and friends to come together to honor his memory. Danny's legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace, be reunited with loved ones who have gone on before him, and dance like crazy in the heavens with his cousin Stella, knowing he was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
