Connie Marie Makein, age 94, passed away on January 8, 2020 at Providence Centralia Hospital. Connie was born on November 1, 1925 to John and Pricy (Hunt) Cook in Riffe, Washington. She got married to Henry Valentine, had children, and took care of her family. Henry passed away in 1974. In time she got remarried to Robert Makein. Connie is survived by her loving husband, Robert J Makein of 42 years; sons, Rick Valentine and Henry Brian Valentine; daughter, Cheri Valentine; grandchildren, Shelly Rounds, Gary England, Erin England, Wayne Robisen, Ricky Valentine, Dominique Valentine, Jake Valentine, Chris Valentine, and Genea Shipp. She is preceded in death by her first Husband, Henry Valentine; son, Ronald Valentine; and daugher, Diane Valentine. Her hobbies include gardening. A Viewing will be held on January 22, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Newell-Hoerling's Mortuary. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Chehalis on January 23, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Graveside Committal at Claquato Cemetery in Chehalis.
