Christopher Lee Braae, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, in Toledo, Wash., at the age of 31. Christopher was born September 13, 1990 in Auburn, Wash. to Al Braae and Jennifer Tautfest. Christopher married the love of his life and best friend Courtney (Keys), on August 24, 2019, in Eatonville, Wash. They loved spending as much time as possible together. They were truly best friends and soulmates. They have two Labrador Retriever fur babies together, Bailee and Boone. Christopher grew up hunting with his papa, Eddie, who adored him and taught him everything he knew about hunting. He also enjoyed fishing, hiking, and being with his two labs outside whenever possible. Christopher especially loved being around his friends and family. He was one of a kind with a big heart and a smile so beautiful, he lit up every room he entered. Christopher is preceded in death by his great nanners, Bernice Hughson; his sister, Rorie Jo Tautfest; and his grandma, Linda Seyller. He is survived by his loving wife, Courtney Braae; his parents, Al Braae, and Jennifer Tautfest; grandparents, Eddie Learned, Angel Thompson, and Derrell Seyller; his great grandpa, Sam Hughson; and his aunt, Heather Thompson. Christopher will be missed by all. A Celebration of Life will be held soon but the date is unknown at this time.
