Charles Edward Gibson passed away on April 16, 2025 He was born Nov, 30, 1940 in Elma, WA. and lived in Tenino since 1947. Preceded in death were his mother Zina, step mother Grace, and his father Howard. Charlie graduated from Tenino High School in 1958. Enlisted in the Air Force from 1960-1965. Graduated from WSU in 1970 and was employed by Washington Dept of Transportation as a civil engineer, retiring in 1994. He married Christina MacAlister Ford in 1981, survived by wife Christina, sons James Gibson and Renee Isom of Tenino, Robert and E'Vette Gibson of Tenino. Grandchildren include 1 granddaughter, Alison and 3 grandsons: AJ, Lukas and Shane. He had been an active member of the Tenino Lions Club since 1974 and was a board member of the Tenino School District for 9 years. His interests were wood working, traveling, gardening, biking and spending winters in Arizona. He also ran several marathons including the Boston Marathon in 1982.
