Obituary

Carolyne Lloyd Keech, known affectionately as Carolyne or Cari, was a radiant soul whose life was a testament to the power of compassion, resilience, and unyielding love. Born on February 8, 1950, in Oakland, CA, she was a beacon of light who left an indelible imprint on the hearts of those she encountered. As Maya Angelou once said, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Carolyne embodied this sentiment, leaving a legacy of warmth and kindness. Carolyne spent several years of her professional life as a teacher, shaping young minds and leaving an indelible mark on the education sector. After the birth of her children, she chose to devote herself full-time to being a stay-at-home mother -- a calling she embraced with love, strength and quiet grace. Carolyne is survived by her daughter, Kristen Stiltner & her son Stephen Keech, 8 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. Her family was the light of her life and her greatest pride. She was predeceased by her parents, David and Audrey Kleespie, who instilled in her the values that guided her throughout her life. Carolyne's life was a beautiful journey that, though it has come to an end, will continue to inspire and uplift those who had the honor of knowing her. In the words of Helen Keller, "What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes part of us."
