Betty Gatch, 91, died Saturday, December 5 in her home at Woodland Estates in Chehalis. She was born in Adna, WA in 1924 and lived in the area her entire life. She attended Adna Elementary and R.E. Bennett, then Chehalis High School. She was both a homemaker and retailer, working at Children's Apparel.
Betty was married to Henry Gatch who died in 1983. Her survivors include three daughters: Linda LaCombe, Lacey; Susie Hamilton, Chehalis; and Barbara Cerna, Renton in addition to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that were the joy of her life.
Betty was active at Woodland Estates with exercise classes, bowling, cards, crocheting, reading and puzzles, plus enjoyed many activities with her family and church.
Memorial Services will be: Friday, Dec. 11 at Woodland Estates at 1:30pm; Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Chehalis Christian Church at 3:00pm; and at 11:00am Saturday there will also be a family graveside service at Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Claquato.
