Betty Jean Chambers gained her independence on July 4, 2010 at the age of 89. She was born June 22, 1921 to Richard and Hazel Hubbell in Runneberg Township, MN. On December 23, 1948 she married Bob Chambers in Enumclaw, WA. They owned and operated "Bob's Service" which was also known as Chambers Corner. Betty was an active member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and White River Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon and an Elder. She volunteered at the Auburn Respite Program; she also enjoyed sewing, cooking and reading. Preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Jean Wick, June 1969 and her husband Robert Elmer Chambers Feb. 18, 1984. Betty is survived by her sons, Dale (Betty) of West Seattle, Robert (Kathy) of Buckley, Richard (Peggy) of Enumclaw, Bruce (Jan) of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Marilyn (Allen) Hoksbergen of Auburn and Eloise Chambers of Des Moines. She is also survived by her brother Tom (Patty) Hubbell of Buckley; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
